As a member of our Leadership and Employee Communications team, the Site and Field Communications Lead will be responsible for supporting global corporate employee communications as well as developing and executing strategies to elevate how Corteva communicates and engages with employees who work in non-office environments.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the needs and requirements of the global employee and leadership communications team as required.

  • Create and execute an integrated communications strategy for connecting with employees who spend most of their time at production facilities, in field operations or on the road.

  • Develop a network of site and field contacts globally and use that network to disseminate information, seek feedback, identify story ideas and promote adherence to company brand and style guidelines.

  • Proactively identify and drive opportunities to enhance site and field communication processes, practices, and messaging, benchmarking with other companies to ensure our efforts our best-in-class.

  • Create, deploy, and maintain toolkits, videos, talking points and other resources to help inform, inspire and engage colleagues at site and field locations.

  • Help drive the engagement and mobilization of field and site employees to support key business messaging and advocacy activities when needed.

  • Lead a project to migrate all sites to a common digital signage platform; maintain platform once established.

  • Develop and deliver compelling internal messaging and materials to inform, inspire, and engage site and field employees, in partnership with our Content team.

  • Collaborate with broader Public Affairs organization, representing site and field perspectives, needs and opportunities.

  • Review, edit, proof and distribute communications accurately and on time.

  • Encourage town hall participation and readership of our global employee newsletter and other employee-focused messaging by finding ways to make each more compelling and engaging.

  • Lead and support ad-hoc internal communication projects and activities.

Qualifications

What Skills You Need:

  • Experienced communications professional with 7+ years of experience supporting communications and/or marketing efforts in a corporate environment.

  • Bachelor's degree. Communications degree preferred.

  • Previous experience working with the agriculture or chemical sector preferred.

  • Previous experience communicating with non-office-based colleagues preferred.

  • Effective collaborator, facilitating conversations to coach and guide stakeholders.

  • Ability to drive purposefulness, efficiency, effectiveness, and enthusiasm across work activities.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Results driven; ability to successfully execute and manage through ambiguity.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to quickly adapt to changing needs.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to successfully navigate challenging opportunities to meet objectives and deadlines; solves complex problems with minimal guidance.

  • Strategic mindset that fosters innovative, creative thinking.

  • Experience influencing and consulting with internal stakeholders.

  • Ability to keep information discreet and confidential.

  • Fluent in English.

  • Ability to travel, when necessary.

  • Ability to work outside of standard office hours, when necessary.
