Deere & Company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Ames, IA with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field plus 4 years related experience. Required skills: Experience with Analytic Solution use cases to determine the technology and architecture needed to deliver the solution within a Data & Analytics environment (4 yrs); Determine new ideas and creative solutions to design, build and deploy business solutions (4 yrs); Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key technology supplier resources (4 yrs); Understanding of Cloud Computing, Big Data Technology, and how to leverage these to create a Scalable Environment to support Data & Analytics (3 yrs); Experience working with complex & large-scale applications around Big Data and Analytics (2 yrs). Must live within normal commuting distance of the worksite. Up to 50% remote work allowed.
