The Ames Middle School coaching staff is looking for an Assistant Boys Basketball Coaches for the 2024-2025 season.
Work Schedule: During the season, the work schedule will be 4:00pm-6:00pm Monday-Friday. Longer evening hours will be required on game days. Responsibilities:
Assists Head Coaches in running a competitive boy's basketball program.
Follows and maintains knowledge of all District policies and procedures.
Abides by strict confidentiality at all times.
Attends work on a consistent and punctual basis.
Creates a sense of belonging and a welcoming environment for all athletes and families.
Onsite work required.
Assists with other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications: A current Department of Education Coaching Authorization.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience coaching basketball at the high school or middle school level.Compensation: $2,444 season stipend
