Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Carpentry Technician and engage in a variety of construction tasks for commercial projects within a 60-mile radius of Ames, IA. This role involves performing demolition work, earthwork and excavations, concrete placement and finishing, layout preparation, framework erection for structures, ceiling and wall installation, welding, and signaling operators. We specialize in projects ranging from $1mil-$15mil, including new constructions and remodels at ISU. While we strive to match your specific skills with suitable tasks, flexibility in handling various job site responsibilities is essential.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Ames, Iowa.

Work Environment

This position is fully on-site in Ames, Iowa, where you will be part of a team operating within a commercial construction environment. Typical teams consist of 3-10 people. Work hours are generally from 7am-4pm, Monday to Friday, although variations may occur. Standard dress code includes boots, jeans, and a t-shirt or sweatshirt. Travel to other locations such as Ames, Des Moines, or Huxley, IA may be required for certain projects.
