Applicants must be at least 18 years old

Preferred Qualifications:B.S. degree in wildlife ecology, biology, or related field

Job Description:

The selected candidate(s) will assist with departmental research in an outdoor setting and be hired into associated team with supervisor, hourly pay rate, and specific duties to be discussed individually with each candidate.

  • Applicants working in the field should have the physical ability to work long hours outdoors, which may involve walking long distances, carrying field equipment in rough terrain, and/or wading through water

  • Field work will be completed in various weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, etc.)

  • Applicants working in the field must be at least 18 years old

  • Work hours to be arranged Monday through Friday between 8am - 5pm

  • Schedule may vary with workload and weather, not to exceed 40 hours per week

  • Temporary employees are not benefits eligible and are limited to 780 hours/fiscal year

  • Special qualification - driver's license required
