Location: Ames & Des Moines, Iowa

Schedule: Monday - Friday / 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

Requirements: Proven Carpentry Experience / Valid Drivers License / Clean record & able to pass drug screening

Position Overview: Seeking skilled Commercial Carpenters to join our team as the ideal candidate will have a strong back ground in both finish and rough carpentry, with a focus on the casing, trim work, window jamb extensions, and installing door locksets. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects across Ames, Huxley, Ankeny, and the Des Moines metro area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform finish carpentry tasks, including casing and trim installation.

• Execute rough carpentry duties, ensuring structural integrity and precision.

• Install window jamb extensions and door lock sets with attention to detail.

• Collaborate with the superintendent to complete general tasks as required.

Skills:

• Proficiency in finishing carpentry and trim work.

• Experience with door lock and window installation.

• At least 2+ years of experience in rough and finish carpentry.

Work Environment: This is a fully on-site position based in Ames, Iowa. The typical work week consists of 40-45 hours, primarily on commercial job sites across Ames, Ankeny, and the Des Moines metro area. We offer a family-oriented team environment, with a standard shift from 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, allowing for quality time with family. Many of our employees have long tenure, with some being part of the team for over 30 years.
