Company Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with product and engineering teams to identify, understand, and verify bugs.

  • Working closely with the product team to understand the specifications and uses of new features for testing and for documenting.

  • Performing manual functional / regression testing.

  • Verifying that newly developed features and capabilities meet product requirements.

  • Designing and conducting end-to-end tests of autonomous systems, software, vehicles, and implements.

  • Reviewing and updating help documentation that clearly instructs users in the features and complexities of the product.

  • Using data acquisition tools to collect & assess test data.

  • Collaborating with R&D engineers for advanced testing of autonomy systems adapted to new equipment.

  • Measure and define operating parameters of tractors and implements for autonomy systems.

  • Troubleshooting equipment, debugging, and defect reporting.

  • Provide confirmation for verification of resolved bug fixes.

  • Attend weekly meetings to report accomplishments, issues, and plans regarding testing for future deployments or on-going high-profile bugs.Monthly reporting of work completed including manual and performance related test cases accomplished, bugs filed and verified, and test plan creation and progress.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Engineering.

  • 3-5 years of experience working with Precision Agriculture Control Systems.

  • Experience operating and setting up agricultural equipment for field operations and working with growers.

  • Excellent technical documentation reading and writing skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Self-directed and able to think methodically to complete projects without all details readily available.

  • Knowledge of, and experience to safely work with mechanical and steel fabrication tools.

  • Comfortable working around loud tools and machinery.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data acquisition systems.

  • Familiarity with CANbus system architectures.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages (preferably Python).
