A Safety Manager is needed for a leading manufacturer of industrial products based near Anamosa IA. The Safety Manager will conduct risk assessments and implement proactive measures to promote a safety-based culture as well as review new products, processes, and equipment for potential hazards. responsibilities:

• Update and maintain HSE policies and programs.

• Conduct risk assessments and implement proactive measures to promote a safety-based culture.

• Review new products, processes, and equipment for potential hazards.

• Conduct internal and external safety audits.

• Familiarity with OSHA reporting and guidelines.

• Lead accident investigations and identify improvement plans.

• Serve as the local HSE subject matter expert and represent the site at Group HSE meetings.

• Manage emergency response preparedness actions for the site.

• Monitor changes in legislation and regulations to maintain compliance.

• Develop, maintain, and deliver training curriculum and content.

• Collaborate with third-party training providers to arrange specialty training.

• Prepare and implement training budget and ensure milestones are met.

• Monitor and report on key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the training program.

• Stay updated on training trends, developments, and best practices.
