Job Title: Skilled Carpenter In Ames

Job Description

We are looking for a responsible, reliable, and experienced carpenter to assist in installing one of our four product lines: Kitchens, Basements, Bathrooms, and Decking. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in carpentry, with a strong attention to detail and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Perform finish and trim carpentry.

  • Conduct framing labor.

  • Operate tools and follow directions accurately.

  • Complete casing, trim work, and window jamb extensions.

  • Assist in rough and finish carpentry and general tasks as required by the superintendent.

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years of remodeling experience.

  • Framing experience (preferred).

  • Ability to operate carpentry tools.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Reliable transportation.

  • General labor and construction skills.

  • Blueprint reading.

  • Concrete work.

  • Enthusiastic attitude.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday through Friday. Projects are located in the Ames area, Huxley, Ankeny, and Bondurant. Work is conducted outside in the elements for new projects and indoors for service and finish trim projects. The team environment is smaller and focused on collaboration.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Ames, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00
