Randstad is seeking a talented Lab Technician for a position in Ankeny, Iowa. As the selected candidate, you will put your scientific skills to work with a global leader in agricultural research. This is a fully onsite position working Monday - Friday position from 8am - 5pm. Local candidates preferred as relocation cost reimbursement is not available for this opportunity.

salary: $19 - $20 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Working under supervision, you will perform a variety of laboratory technical tasks.

• Responsible for the care and maintenance of laboratory equipment.

• Will be required to offer assistance in the operation of the equipment and the gathering of data.

• Assists with receipt and inspection of raw materials, ordering and stocking.

• Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Must Haves:

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field of study

• 1-3 years of lab / research experience.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.

The essential functions of this role include:
