Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for reconditioning heat exchange plates. This includes removing old rubber gaskets, power washing the plates, testing for cracks or holes, washing and drying the plates, gluing new gaskets, transferring them into an oven, and packaging for shipment.
Responsibilities
Remove old rubber gaskets by hand or using liquid nitrogen.
Power wash plates to clean them.
Test plates for cracks or holes by spraying them with a material and using a black light.
Wash and dry plates after testing.
Glue new gaskets onto plates and transfer them into an oven for adhesion.
Cool plates and prepare them for shipment.
Essential Skills
1 year of manufacturing or production experience.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work in a team.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Self-motivation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with general labor, packing, production, loading, material handling, manufacturing, hand tools, assembly, packaging, forklift, and cleaning.

Work Environment
Work in a manufacturing environment within a very open warehouse. The team consists of 12 employees who are either current or former employees. The atmosphere is laid-back and relaxed, as long as production output is met. The warehouse is not climate controlled. This is a 1st shift opportunity from 7am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with potential Saturday work. The dress code requires steel-toed boots and jeans, with safety glasses and gloves provided.

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50
