Now Hiring - Plumbing Technician

Location: Des Moines, Iowa

Schedule: Monday - Friday / 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM / OT Available

On-Call Shifts: Every 6 weeks (compensation provided)

Position Overview: Seeking a motivated Plumbing Technician with at least 6 months of experience or familiarity in plumbing, electrical, or skilled mechanical trades. The ideal candidate will assist journeyman licensed technicians with the installation of piping and heating and cooling units in new construction residential, multi-family, and light industrial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with delivery, installation, and troubleshooting of pipes and plumbing equipment.

• Power vacuum pipes and ensure clean job sites.

• Lift and move units, requiring comfort with bending, crouching, and kneeling.

• Collaborate with a team, including a journeyman technician, to complete installations and repairs.

• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in plumbing and construction installation.

• Familiarity with blueprint reading and mechanical aptitude.

• Experience with soldering and using an impact drill/basic hand tools.

Work Environment: This is a busy, team-oriented environment. Technicians will be paired with journeymen and will start the day at the job site or the shop. The dress code includes jeans, work boots, and work-appropriate tee shirts (provided by the company).
