Atlantic Bottling Company Warehouse Specialist- Class A CDL Preferred! in Atlantic, Iowa

Overview/Function: The Warehouse Specialists role is to ensure customer orders are fulfilled. They handle shipping and receiving of Atlantic Coca-Cola Bottling Company products, ensure incoming products and materials are efficiently stored in the correct location, pull production preparation for delivery, and stage and load product in accordance to company standards.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Move product throughout the warehouse in an efficient, effective and safe manner.

  • Safely utilize material handling equipment (pallet jack, forklift, etc.).

  • Conduct order fulfillment tasks (pulling product, builder orders, stocking trucks, rotation inventory, etc.).

  • Count and inspect product; ensure accurate reports. Help to resolve order discrepancies.

  • Minimize damaged products.

  • Comply with all safety procedures. Maintain clean and orderly work area to ensure safety.

  • Ethical conduct is expected at all times.

  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

Experience & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED.

  • Previous warehouse experience is helpful but not required.

  • Ability to read and follow directions and work orders.

  • Ability to follow all safety requirements/protocols.

  • Good team-player.

  • Flexible with the ability to adapt to varying situations.

  • Positive, helpful attitude.

  • Some light computer experience is helpful.

  • Class A CDL preferred but not required.

    Additional:

  • This position is very active and requires the employee to frequently lift and/or move items up to 55 lbs. (Moving equipment and tools will be provided to reduce strains and injury.)

  • Standing, walking, twisting, grasping, reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, sitting, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing will be required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

  • The role is considered a safety sensitive position.

  • To accomplish their tasks, the position will work in a warehouse environment in which the temperate is unregulated and dependent upon outdoor temperatures.

  • Work hours: Typically 7:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m. (until all orders are built for the next days deliveries is complete), Monday-Friday. Some occasional weekend or off-shift work may be needed.

  • Must have reliable transportation.
