JOB GOAL:
To lead participating students toward the fulfillment of their potential for intellectual, emotional, and psychological growth and maturation.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creates and models a safe, respectful classroom environment, as well as during meetings with colleagues.
Utilizes guidelines from the
Pleasant Valley CSD ELP handbook
in the support and identification of students with needs for services beyond the regular classroom instruction.
Collaborates with the district ELP team to develop objectives and curricula for enrichment opportunities that reflect engaging and challenging activities to support the mission, vision, values, and goals of the ELP program.
Employs a variety of instructional strategies that support the district mission, align with the NAGC standards, and are consistent with the needs and interests of ELP students.
Provides students with effective feedback on a regular basis.
