Qualifications Responsibilities Bachelor's Degree The successful candidate will work with administrators in both districts to create a schedule based on student needs Iowa Teaching License Develops lesson plans, including activities and materials, and implements objectives through individual and small group activities Appropriate Endorsement for ESL Assignment (or willingness to secure appropriate licensure) Serves as a resource person in ESL education for all district personnel Such alternative to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable Monitors student's progress, keeps appropriate records, and prepares reports on a regular basis Communicates with students, parents, classroom teachers, and administrators through conferences and other means to discuss student's progress Identifies student needs and cooperates with other professional staff members in supporting students
