Job Title: Seed Technician

Job Description

This role involves operating forklifts, quality checking products, assisting with process lines, and participating in indoor seed processing and packaging activities, including receiving, scanning, cleaning, treating, sorting, counting, labeling, and warehousing seed. You will also be responsible for organizing, moving, and placing seed into storage while maintaining inventory accuracy using electronic inventory systems.

Work Environment

• The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

• Groups inside the plant consist of 10-12 people

• The dress code includes jeans and a t-shirt or sweatshirt

• Steel toe shoes are required, which candidates can expense - all other safety equipment, such as hard hats, high-visibility vests, and safety glasses, will be provided

This is a Contract position based out of Boone, IA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00
