Job Description:

• Set up and operate various CNC and manual machines to produce precision parts under the immediate supervision of a certified machine operator (level II or above)

• Learn how to set up and operate precision manual and/or computerized machining centers according to standard work

• Learn how to adjust machine feed/spindle speeds and the changing of tooling and cutters per machining

• Learn how to read and interpret blueprints and specifications

• Understand and follow quality testing techniques

Hard Skills:

• 2 years of relevant experience...ENTRY LEVEL ROLE!

• Computer experience (e-mail, print documents, internet)

• Basic shop math and knowledge of Geometric Tolerances

Work Environment:

• Shifts: 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) and 3rd shift (10pm-6am)

• Overtime is available after full training and certification, approximately 120 days into the role...overtime requires about 8 hours per week, which can be worked throughout the week depending on machine availability

• Pay: 2nd shift = $19.50 and 3rd shift = $20
