Job Summary

To improve client satisfaction and reduce liability exposure, this position will continue to establish and maintain quality assurance methods that enhance the standard of care through continuous improvement of accuracy, thoroughness, appearance, efficiency, biddability, constructability, operability, and serviceability of our internal and external deliverables. 

Responsibilities and Duties

Heighten the quality of JEO services and deliverables through all phases of work, including client development activities, studies, survey, design, bidding, construction, etc. The role will work to provide consistency throughout all departments and all levels of the organization. 

  • Work with Departmental Leadership to refine and maintain “Quality Control” process.

  • Maintain and expand our comprehensive process for the review of all documents.  This includes client development documents design concepts, plans and standards, coordination of internal and external disciplines, construction specifications, and overall contractual requirements of the client. 

  • Responsible for the organization and comprehensiveness of all Master Technical Specifications.  Includes all necessary/required updates, emerging applications, techniques and equipment.

  • Responsible for maintaining and enhancing the development and implementation of Master Scope of Services.

  • Assist with identifying and analyzing project execution problems, including constructability, operability and serviceability. 

  • Provide assistance and investigation of existing project and/or client complications and provide recommendations for resolution.

    Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.

  • Minimum of 20 years of diverse industry experience

  • 10+ years of experience in quality assurance & quality control within the AEC industry

  • 5+ years in a leadership role

  • In-depth knowledge of QA/QC principles, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. 

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
