Description
We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our client's team here in the Corridor! This role entails a variety of responsibilities, including order entry in the sales department, acting as a point of contact for internal and external customers, and performing clerical duties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the lifecycle of sales and invoicing processes and communication with various stakeholders.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of incoming payments from our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment and contribute to the financial success of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Process and post incoming payments from customers accurately and efficiently.
Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly documented.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to invoicing and payments.
Generate and distribute customer invoices and statements on a regular basis.
Monitor accounts receivable aging report and follow up on overdue accounts.
Collaborate with internal teams to address customer inquiries and resolve payment disputes.
Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting as needed.
Maintain organized records of all accounts receivable transactions and documentation.
Requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
Proven experience working in accounts receivable or related financial role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
Experience working within an ERP system (e.g., Epicor, SAP, Salesforce)
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
