We are working with a well known client in the Cedar Rapids surrounding area. They are offering an exciting opportunity for a Big Data Engineer. As part of this team, your primary role will be to develop and manage data pipelines across various platforms, ensuring efficient data flow and integrity. The ability to perform detailed data analysis and implement data pipelines is critical. You will be heavily involved in proposing solutions to strategically align the data for optimization and enable the business to make more informed decisions. Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with various teams to resolve technical issues related to integrations.

• Ensuring corporate compliance with regulations and leading the development of policies and standards.

• Utilizing AI and Cloud Computing for efficient data integration and modeling.

• Leveraging your proficiency in Oracle SQL and Snowflake for effective data modeling and procedures.

• Implementing ETL processes and stored procedures for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.

Requirements

MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN USA

• Applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Big Data Engineer role or similar.

• Strong analytical skills are required.

• Knowledge of Snowflake

• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI)

• Proficiency in Cloud Computing

• Strong skills in Data Modeling

• Familiarity with Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing (BI DW), Data Lakes

• Proficiency in Oracle SQL is important.

• Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley and its requirements is essential.
