We are seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join a growing team in the financial services industry located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This role involves designing and delivering data visualizations, collaborating with stakeholders, and promoting a data-driven culture. This role does REQUIRE experience acting as a consultant amongst divisions, listening and gathering requirements needed, develop the solution, present, and modify if needed! Responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and delivering enterprise-level BI solutions, including dashboards and recurring reports, using best practices in data visualization

• Collaborating with business stakeholders and analysts to define, develop, and deliver domain-specific BI solutions that provide insights for critical business decisions

• Partnering with subject matter experts and the data engineering team to create ad hoc SQL queries and enterprise-level data marts for recurring analysis and self-service capabilities

• Working directly with external customers to design, deliver, and maintain customer-facing self-service online reporting portals

• Ensuring high availability and accuracy of deliverables on the enterprise BI platform, particularly with tools like Tableau and Salesforce

• Collaborating with technical teams to inform changes to source system data structures and identify impacts on downstream BI products

• Actively participating in a data champion community for knowledge and best practice sharing to promote a data-driven culture within the team.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Financial Services industry.

• Proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) and Business Intelligence Technologies.

• Skilled in the development of Interactive, Reporting, and Operational Dashboards.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Proven ability to translate Detailed Business Requirements into technical specifications and data models.

• Proficient in SQL server management studio and SQL - Structured Query Language.

• Advanced knowledge of Tableau for creating data visualizations.

• Familiarity with Maps API for integrating and customizing maps.

• Demonstrable experience in Analytics, interpreting data and analyzing results using statistical techniques.

• Excellent problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills.

• Able to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field would be advantageous. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
