We are offering a position for a Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer based in CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa, 52405-1015, United States. The role involves working with a variety of business intelligence technologies and databases in a dynamic environment. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Working with Tableau for data visualization and dashboard creation. If you are not familiar with Tableau, you must be able to learn within 1-2 weeks.

• Applying SQL for basic query execution.

• Engaging in data analysis using Power BI and other relevant tools.

• Processing and interpreting complex data to create visualizations that effectively communicate insights.

• Collaborating with the Chief Data Officer to alleviate the backlog of visualization projects.

• Working with a variety of business users to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable BI solutions.

• Documenting business requirements and specifications for project execution.

Requirements

• Thorough understanding of Database structures

• Strong knowledge in Analytics

• Proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) technologies

• Ability to create and understand Business Requirement Documents

• Experience in dealing with Business Users

• Must adhere to company policies and regulations

• Ability to work within a team and independently

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Possess a proactive and positive attitude in the workplace

• Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet and professional manner

• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
