Description
The Community Outreach Representative is responsible for building and developing relationships with businesses, community partners, members, and potential members to grow Dupaco’s book of business within chartered areas. They promote growth by providing expertise to help individuals identify ways to improve their overall financial well-being by establishing new relationships, products and services.

You’ll be:
Joining the Cedar Rapids Community Outreach team with onsite visits, initial sales calls, and ongoing relationships in all chartered counties
Assist with credit union growth by increasing membership and loan volume.
Manage on-going relationships with businesses and partnerships through regular communication and on-site visits.
Onboard new members in a quick-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Identify existing member and new member needs with a focus on deepening relationships by looking for ways to increase the average number of products per member.
Generate leads with the intent to grow your book of business with support from team.
Proficient in reading credit reports with the ability to identify loan referrals.
Develop an understanding of credit union products and services with the ability to make a qualified referral to subject matter experts.
Assist in creating and delivering presentations with the intent of educating, while promoting Dupaco products and services.
Actively use CRM to record sales calls, visits and presentations with current and prospective contacts.
Perform other duties as assigned.
You'll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Sales or a related field, or equivalent experience
2-5 years in Business Development, Sales experience preferred
Financial Industry experience is a plus
Must be self-starter with high energy and motivation
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Ability to make sound decisions with a thorough knowledge and understanding in credit union policies and procedures.
Ability to make sound decisions based on understanding of financial industry regulations.
Ability to travel to various sites in the Cedar Rapids region.
