Seeking a Pharmacy Data Technician in the Cedar Rapids Area!!

Job Description

The Data Technician will be responsible for handling prescription orders and triaging orders from nursing homes. They must be familiar with and able to explain prescription demo sheets, insurance information, and scripts. This role involves working closely with nursing staff to ensure directions are clear and occasionally assisting on the fill floor if needed.

Responsibilities

  • Handle and triage prescription orders from nursing homes.

  • Explain prescription demo sheets, insurance information, and scripts.

  • Collaborate closely with nursing staff to ensure directions are clear.

  • Occasionally assist on the fill floor as needed.

Essential Skills

  • Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT).

  • 1-3+ years of experience working as a pharmacy technician.

  • Proficiency in medication handling and medical billing.

  • Strong data entry skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in a long-term care pharmacy environment.

  • Ability to perform computer work for extended periods.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00
