QPS EMPLOYMENT GROUP Forklift Operator in Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Position Title: Forklift Operator
Wage: $19.00/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm
Are you detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment? Join our team in Walford, IA as a Warehouse Associate! In this role, you'll play a crucial part in our logistics operations by unloading inbound shipments, verifying merchandise against shipping documents, and accurately documenting storage locations.
Forklift Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Unload inbound shipments and verify merchandise matches shipping documents - Move merchandise to storage properly documenting storage locations and report any shipment discrepancies - Pick and prepare orders for shipment ensuring the exact number and type of product is ready for shipment, properly load the shipment when that's complete - Locate and relocate merchandise allowing for the best space utilization and picking efficiencies - Keep accurate records of stock moves, receipts, and shipments for reporting to warehouse office personnel - Fold cardboard totes
Forklift Operator Requirements: - Experience operating a forklift - Able to get on and off a forklift - Lift up to 60lbs (25% of the time) - Good hand/eye coordination - Attention to detail - Steel toe boots - Adhere to dress code (casual)
