Global Supply Chain Manager

The Global Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end supply chain processes for our IT services. This includes procurement, logistics, inventory management, vendor relations, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management within the IT services sector, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of optimizing supply chain performance on a global scale.

What You’ll Accomplish and Experience

  • Supply Chain Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement global supply chain strategies that align with the company’s objectives.

  • Forecast demand and manage supply planning to ensure timely availability of resources and services.

  • Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain to ensure continuity and efficiency.

  • Procurement and Vendor Management:

  • Oversee the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, and contracting with suppliers.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and partners.

  • Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular assessments to ensure compliance with quality and service standards.

  • Logistics and Distribution:

  • Manage global logistics operations to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

  • Optimize transportation and distribution networks to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Oversee warehouse operations and inventory management to ensure accuracy and availability of stock.

  • Process Improvement and Compliance:

  • Continuously assess and improve supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.

  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to drive operational excellence.

  • Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.

  • Provide training and development opportunities to build the team’s capabilities and expertise.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive integrated supply chain initiatives.

    Desirable Previous Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a global role within the IT services industry.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing global supply chain operations and driving process improvements.

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics, procurement, and inventory management.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in supply chain management software and tools.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • OSHA knowledge for applying safety procedures and safe lifting habits

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions

  • Moderate lifting & carrying – up to 50 lbs
