Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Help Desk II in CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa. The role will be focused on providing technical assistance in a dynamic environment within the Healthcare, Hospitals, Social Assistance industry. The selected candidate will be responsible for resolving technical issues, managing help tickets, and implementing solutions to technical problems.

Responsibilities:

• Offering IT support for a variety of software applications used internally.

• Handling and managing help tickets submitted through various channels such as phone, email, and walk-ups.

• Implementing solutions to recurring technical issues and suggesting improvements to eliminate the root cause of the problems.

• Actively investigating and implementing solutions to technical issues.

• Assisting in the management of customer accounts and taking appropriate action.

• Processing customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.

• Maintaining detailed and accurate customer credit records.

• Demonstrating a solid understanding of IT support ticketing systems and basic networking concepts.

• Proving experience in installing and configuring operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applications.

• Demonstrating knowledge of user administration and bug fixing in a client-server environment. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Help Desk or similar role

• Proficient in MS Windows 10

• Familiar with ticketing system operations for managing and tracking issues

• Experience in basic network troubleshooting

• Working knowledge of Active Directory

• Exceptional customer service skills and a strong ability to solve problems and manage tasks efficiently

• Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users

• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and independently when required

• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
