Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an HR Specialist located in CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa. This role is primarily focused on providing support to both internal and external individuals through various channels in the industry. As an HR Specialist, your role will be instrumental in handling HR related inquiries, utilizing multiple systems for information retrieval, and contributing to the continuous improvement of employee experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to internal and external individuals including employees, managers, leaders, and vendors through various channels such as phone, chats, portal, and emails.

• Utilize ServiceNow for case management tracking for intake and requests.

• Respond to HR-related inquiries on a variety of topics including payroll, benefits, FMLA, LOA, and time-off.

• Adhere to and respond in accordance with existing policies & procedures when dealing with inquiries from internal and external individuals.

• Educate individuals on appropriate self-service channels, resources, and information as needed.

• Utilize multiple systems such as CRM, Workday, SharePoint, and other applications to obtain information to respond to inquiries within existing policies & procedures.

• Escalate situations outside of existing policies & procedures when necessary to ensure beneficial resolutions.

• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement by sharing feedback and insights on employee experience.

• Handle high volume calls, processing transactions like address changes, and transferring calls when necessary.

• Display proficiency in various software and applications including Office Suite, Service Now, WorkDay, and EV5. Requirements • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now

• Experience with CRM systems

• Excellent communication skills

• Knowledge of HR compliance regulations

• Ability to use ticketing systems

• Familiarity with Workday HR platform

• Experience with HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems

• Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint and Office Suites

• Experience in managing open enrollment processes

• Experience in a high volume call center environment

• Knowledge of HR Administration

• Proficiency in time keeping processes

• Experience in providing call center customer service

• Advanced knowledge of Human Resources (HR) Administration
