We are in search of a Jr. Software Developer to join our client's team in CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa. The role focuses on implementing (integrating and customizations) of innovative software solutions for our their technology platform. The ideal candidate will be tasked with understanding user needs, translating complex business requirements into technical solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities:

• Translate complex business requirements into technical software solutions.

• Design and develop efficient software solutions to improve processes.

• Understand and cater to user needs before proposing and implementing solutions.

• Develop and optimize database solutions to support educational technology platforms.

• Create scripts and programs to automate workflows and data processing tasks.

• Implement data visualizations and reports using Tableau to provide insights to stakeholders.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for technological improvement.

• Adapt quickly to new technologies relevant to our educational platform.

• Present solution demonstrations to internal teams and stakeholders.

• Troubleshoot complex issues and optimize existing systems.

• Document technical solutions and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Requirements • Proficiency in Python programming language

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server

• Knowledge of C Sharp Programming (C#)

• Familiarity with Visual Studio as a development environment

• Understanding of Version Control concepts and systems

• Proficiency in JavaScript programming language

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
