We work in partnership with Engineering Programs on a variety of different technical platforms. What You Will Do:

• Works under limited supervision to aid in one or more disciplines within IT (e.g., business, and technical application, IT infrastructure, security and compliance, desktop support, etc.).

• Conducts basic documentation activities, including operation documents, user feedback, contributions to team notes, user manuals, etc.

• Provides end users with desktop and system support to solve basic problems.

• Coordinates installation of basic hardware, software, operating systems, and network hardware.

• Identifies, prioritizes, researches, and resolves problems within the team scope

  What You Will Learn:

• This position will be to assist in providing Second Tier client support for engineering and labs and the production floor.

• The team supports a variety of Microsoft operating systems ranging from DOS to Windows 11 as well as several variations of Linux including Ubuntu and Redhat. Hardware platforms including desktops, laptops, industrial PCs, workstation, and server hardware to support those operating systems.

• You will gain knowledge on how to recommend systems modifications to reduce user problems

• Learn and participate with the team on how to work on computer application standards while support the computer, network and client server units

  Qualifications You Must Have:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

  Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience or coursework in cybersecurity

• Candidate must be a good independent worker and demonstrate a strong pc hardware background with excellent customer service skills.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
