We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineering student interested in learning engineering principles used in manufacturing through a co-op with our New Product Introduction team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Everyday you’ll be using your engineering skills working with manufacturing personnel to ensure Collins Aerospace customer expectations are met. This role is onsite, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This position is full-time, Monday-Friday, and will run January - August; it is only eligible for current students with a graduation date past August 2024.

What You Will Do:

• Transition new products from development status to manufacturing ready.

• Collect and analyze test failure information for root causes and launch corrective actions.

• Launch new Industry 4.0 initiatives and automation.

What You Will Learn:

• Engineering principles applied to development and manufacturing.

• Product life cycle.

• Operations and work cell planning.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

• Basic CAD modeling (prefer SolidWorks or NX).

• Familiarity with Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Proficient knowledge using Microsoft Office products.

• Previous manufacturing experience.

• 3D printing.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
