We are seeking a Payroll Administrator for a long-term contract opportunity in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In this role, you will be tasked with managing payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and processing payroll for 800+ employees. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the organization's payroll functions, ensuring efficient processing and compliance with laws.

• Set up new employees in the payroll system and process terminations.

• Respond to employee payroll queries with excellent and timely customer service.

• Recommend updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.

• Prepare and maintain accurate reports and records.

• Perform various compliances, audits, and reconciliations.

• Continually update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and staying updated about payroll-related legislative changes.

• Manage payroll for a high number of employees.

• Ensure all payroll transactions are processed efficiently and in compliance with wage laws.

• Utilize accounting software systems, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, Crystal Reports, and Microsoft Excel for payroll management.

Requirements

• Prior experience processing payroll for 250+ employees

• Knowledge with Payroll software's

• Prior experience with payroll deductions and garnishments

•Strong attention to detail and time management skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Formula's)
