We are in search of a meticulous Payroll Coordinator to be a part of our team, based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In this role, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of managing financial information for our organization, ensuring its accuracy, and aiding in decision-making processes that contribute to the growth and success of our organization. This role offers a contract-to-hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Handle intermediate-level payroll transactions, including entry, review, and audit.

• Troubleshoot and correct discrepancies and entries related to pay including State Tax, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, Workers Compensation, etc.

• Utilize skills in Full Cycle Payroll, Garnishment Calculations, Payroll - Garnishments, Multistate Payroll, Weekly Payroll, Payroll - Over 500 Employees.

• Record and report financial transactions for the organization.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• Ability to handle Weekly Payroll efficiently

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

• Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively.
