Job Title: Data TechnicianJob Description
The Data Technician will be responsible for taking prescription orders and triaging orders from nursing homes. They will also need to be familiar with and able to explain prescription demo sheets, insurance information, and scripts. The Data Technician will work closely with the nursing staff to ensure directions are clear and accurate. Occasionally, they may assist on the fill floor if needed.

Essential Skills
Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT).
1-3+ years of experience working as a pharmacy technician.
Experience with medical billing and data entry.
Knowledge of medication and prescriptions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a long-term care pharmacy setting.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Work Environment
The Data Technician will work in a casual environment and should be able to sit and perform computer work for extended periods. They will work a 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Occasionally, weekend hours may be required, with Saturday hours from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. After training, this role could be hybrid, with 2-3 days at home and 2-3 days in the office. The dress code is casual, allowing jeans and t-shirts, but closed-toe shoes are required. This position is within a long-term care pharmacy, focusing on filling prescriptions for nursing homes, assisted living, and group homes.
