What YOU will do:

• You will lead our engineering team to develop advanced avionics products that meet stringent technical and safety standards for military and commercial applications.

• You will manage projects from start to finish, ensuring that cost, schedule, and technical performance commitments are met and customers are wowed.

• You will oversee hardware, software, and firmware development, ensuring that our cutting-edge technologies remain at the forefront of the industry.

• You will collaborate with a cross-functional team, from program management to manufacturing, to bring new avionics products to life.

• You will engage directly with customers, leading business activities such as bids, proposals, and technical presentations.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience

• Demonstrated experience in leading development teams and managing technical projects with earned value management and risk management expertise.

• Experience in developing ruggedized avionics products and knowledge of regulatory and certification requirements (TSO, MIL-STD, DO-160, DO-254, DO-178B/C).

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
