A Senior Analyst, GT Technology Management is a Jurisdiction & Classification (JC) and a Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) support specialist. Familiar with both export and import regulations. The position requires both a high-level understanding of the products and knowledge of the regulations surrounding their export and import.

This role will be hybrid, the preferred candidate will be available to work at one of our Collins Aerospace - Avionics locations in Cedar Rapids, IA, Melbourne, FL or Wilsonville, OR.

What You Will Do:

• Working under/within the following U.S. Regulations; Export Administration Regulation (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) and HTS

• Perform JC classifications.

• Perform HTS classifications.

• Support investigations and reviews of possible GT escapes and disclosures.

• Administrative support of the ERP and classification repositories.

• Support Commodity Jurisdiction (CJ) and Commodity Classification Automated Tracking System (CCATS) to government agencies.

• Support Senior classifiers, metrics, and process improvements.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience

Qualifications We Prefer:

• BS/MS Engineering or Business Administration

• Engineering and/or technical background

• Aerospace (program/technical) experience

• Experience with classifications under the World Customs Organization (WCO) HTS

• Experience with US Export (classification) Regulations; specifically the EAR and the Commerce Control List (CCL), ITAR and the United States Munitions List (USML)

• 1 to 2 years working with GT and related export/HTS classification matters

• Experience with Collins/RTX current trade compliance related processes (classifications, authorizations, logging, compliant transfer modes, record keeping, etc.) and Collins specific GT related systems (GTS, OCR, MKDenial , xClass, TEXPORT) is a plus.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
