As a Senior Analyst in GT Technology Management, you will play a crucial role in navigating the complexities of U.S. export and import regulations, ensuring compliance with the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), and the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS). This hybrid position offers an exciting opportunity to engage in the classification and jurisdiction determination of various aerospace products, while collaborating with senior classifiers to support process improvements and investigations. What You Will Do:Working under/within the following U.S. Regulations; Export Administration Regulation (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) and HTS:
Perform JC classifications
Perform HTS classifications
Support investigations and reviews of possible GT escapes and disclosures
Administrative support of the ERP and classification repositories
Support Senior classifiers, metrics, and process improvements
What You Will Learn:
In-depth Knowledge of Export & Import Regulations: Gain comprehensive expertise in U.S. regulations such as EAR, ITAR, and HTS, learning how these laws shape the aerospace industry and ensure compliance in a global market
Advanced Classification Techniques: Learn to classify complex aerospace products accurately under JC and HTS systems, expanding your technical proficiency in navigating classification repositories and systems
Process Improvement & Metrics: Work alongside senior classifiers to improve classification processes, metrics tracking, and implement best practices in trade compliance
Cross-functional Collaboration: Develop strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including legal, engineering, and supply chain, to ensure seamless trade compliance across various projects
Exposure to Cutting-edge Aerospace Technology: Dive into the world of aerospace technology, gaining hands-on experience with specialized systems like GTS, OCR, MKDenial, xClass, and TEXPORT, all while advancing your understanding of aerospace compliance
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
Qualifications We Prefer:
BS/MS Engineering or Business Administration
Engineering and/or technical background
Aerospace (program/technical) experience
Experience with classifications under the World Customs Organization (WCO) HTS
Experience with US Export (classification) Regulations; specifically the EAR and the Commerce Control List (CCL), ITAR and the United States Munitions List (USML)
1 to 2 years working with GT and related export/HTS classification matters
Experience with Collins/RTX current trade compliance related processes (classifications, authorizations, logging, compliant transfer modes, record keeping, etc.) and Collins specific GT related systems (GTS, OCR, MKDenial, xClass, TEXPORT) is a plus

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
