Job Summary:

The Senior Data and BI Analyst translates complex data into actionable insights to drive decision-making across departments. They lead the development and maintenance of reports and dashboards, assist in building ETL processes, and act as the subject matter expert on business data and database structures while ensuring data integrity and best practices in reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Understand business stakeholders' objectives, metrics, and performance measures

• Translate data into actionable insights to improve decision-making across departments

• Lead the development, design, and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and analytics

• Assist with building and maintaining ETL processes, ensuring data integrity

• Perform ad-hoc data analysis to solve business problems

• Develop ad-hoc reports using tools such as SQL, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and similar tools

• Develop and automate reports, iteratively build and prototype dashboards to provide insights at scale, solving analytical needs

• Act as the subject matter expert on business data, database structures, and business rules

• Drive best practices for visually displaying large datasets effectively

• Identify and understand the correct data sources for a given analysis

• Create technical documentation for ad-hoc reporting and data requests as needed

• Perform and drive code reviews with data analysts and developers to ensure data quality

• Train business users on report usage and interpretation

• Perform other duties as assigned

• Regular and reliable attendance

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED

Work locations will be determined during the hiring process based on business needs and the position’s essential functions.
