JOB GOAL:

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

Under direct supervision, answer phone calls for the Student Services Department during peak periods. The position also involves working with confidential information.

The typical schedule for this position will have variable hours between 8 a.m. - 5 p.m with preference given to those who have Tuesday and Thursday afternoon availability. Will work around class schedule for students.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer questions via the phone regarding financial aid, registration, billing and Admissions

  • Perform limited duties to assist students with financial aid and registration.

  • Receive and process Financial Aid and Enrollment documentation.

  • Performs other related work duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES WITH/WITHOUT REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION:

Position involves working in an office setting. Occasional (10-33%) standing, pushing, pulling and grasping. Frequent (34-66%) reaching and viewing a computer and other types of close visual work. Constant (67-100%) sitting, walking, repetitive motion, talking and hearing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma.

  • Preference given to those with call center experience.

  • Must type 50 WPM.
