Job Title: Technician

Job Description

Perform mechanical services on equipment. Must have a good working knowledge of precision alignment, welding, blueprint reading, mathematics, and preventative and predictive maintenance. Must be able to use hand tools on a daily basis such as power tools - hand grinders, saws, drill press, hydraulic pullers, etc. Also perform welding.

Responsibilities

• Complete preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial maintenance throughout the facility.

• Operate standard maintenance tools such as power tools, basic hand tools, electric tools, precision maintenance tools, and preventative maintenance technology tools.

• Utilize and work with maintenance trades and components such as electrical, welding, pipefitting, fabrication, gearbox and bearing maintenance, lubrication, pumps and piping systems, mechanical maintenance, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Modify or build equipment by reading and comprehending electrical/mechanical schematics, blueprints, and/or operation manuals.

• Document completed work and the conditions found, utilizing maintenance computer software as necessary.

• Interact regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a teamwork-focused environment.

• Operate forklifts, loaders, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts.

• 5+ years experience in industrial maintenance

• AA degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred but not required

Work Environment

Onsite. Shifts available: Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, 7am - 5:30 PM. No weekends.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00
