Job Description

  • Unbundle wires and components/connectors for kitting. Stand at a billboard, place wires on it, and connect them together. Form an assembly of wire harnesses, then push a button to electrically test it.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Work Environment

The company is an ISO certified electronics part supplier. They build wire harnesses for electronic use, wire, or cable. Customers include Schneider Electric and Caterpillar. The workplace is not climate-controlled. It is heated in the winter but can get hot in the summer. The 1st shift is from 6am-4:30pm, Monday to Thursday, with some overtime on Fridays. The dress code requires a T-shirt, pants without holes, rips or tears, and closed-toed shoes.
