Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Clinic RN – Quality/Education.
As a Clinic RN – Quality/Education at MercyOne, you will serve as a clinical educator to Medical Assistants, Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses. Responsible for reporting all quality and safety issues, as well as recommending and implementing approved changes.
Coordinate professional education and training.
Assessing learning needs related to staff performance and prioritizing learning activities.
Provide training for the practice and delivery of safe, effective and culturally competent patient care for clinic patients.
Coordinate patient care area operations and patient care based on the nursing process through support of the standard and philosophy of MercyOne.
Coordinates the MercyOne Clinton Medical Group Quality and Operations committee leadership to execute MercyOne Medical Group quality initiatives.
Accountable for quality-of-care concerns, including accurate and timely documentation.
Oversees the clinical quality of care review process, the medical record audit process for the delegation oversight quantitative analysis of data for presentation to appropriate health plan committees and regulatory agencies.
Provides guidance and direction to designation areas within MercyOne Clinton medical group in monitoring measurement, analysis and reporting performance improvement activities.
Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health’s Organizational Integrity Program, Standards of Conduct, as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday days
General Requirements:
Active registration for Registered Nurse - Board of Nursing, State of Iowa. Illinois license required if working in Illinois.
Must be BLS certified within 3 months of hire.
Two years experience required.
Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
Must be cable of problem solving, critical thinking, and assessment of patient conditions.
Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission and vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
Education:
- Associate degree or diploma from an accredited school of nursing.
