Seeking a Laboratory Technician in the Coralville Area!!

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to perform manufacturing tasks that transform raw materials into final products. This role involves decontamination processes, product transfer, and utilizing maintenance connection software. You will operate lab instruments, adhere to company policies, and use a variety of lab equipment for processing standard and non-standard products.

Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination processes and product transfers

• Operate lab instruments according to work instructions and company policies

• Utilize various purification platforms to purify oligos and attach modifications

• Cleave and deprotect oligos using appropriate methods

• Quantify and sample oligos for quality control tests

• Efficiently multitask while running multiple processes

• Use customer software in a Windows-based environment

• Troubleshoot product, process, or equipment problems

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or other life sciences preferred

• Associate's Degree in Life Science with 1-2 years of relevant lab-based experience

• Knowledge of chemistry, microbiology, DNA extraction, and DNA sequencing

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.20 - $25.20/hr.
