This position is part of the Data Governance organization located in Coralville, IA and will be on-site 3 days weekly/hybrid. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with Director of Data Strategy, Governance & Product Configuration to align department outputs / inputs with current business strategies.

  • Coordinate with SAP analysts and solution architects to optimize use of master data across data domains.

  • Ensure that Data Governance and Data Stewardship processes are inserted into and aligned with appropriate enterprise processes and strategic objectives.

  • Collaborate with leadership across the organization to identify business needs and implement Data Governance and Data Stewardship capabilities.

  • Coordinate and analyze master data accuracy in both our sales and ERP software and advocate for data quality and provide end user training and root cause analysis.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience or Masters degree with 3+ years of experience; degree preferably in science, engineering or business related field

  • 4+ years managerial experience

  • 5+ years SAP experience

  • Proven capability utilizing analytical techniques to support decision making and facilitating engagement with stakeholders, including executive leadership

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Leveraging lean and continuous Improvement methods / tools

  • Leveraging problem solving processes

  • Implementing policy and procedural processes / documentation
