Conagra Maintenance Electrician - 2nd Shift in Council Bluffs, Iowa
Shift: This role is 2nd Shift, 4:00 PM-4:00 AM
Hourly Rate: $25.73 an hour
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Specialist ET reports to the Maintenance Team Lead and is responsible for a variety of responsibilities including conducting planned maintenance activities, installing, maintaining, and operating all plant electrical, troubleshooting and programming PLC's according to procedure while observing all safety regulations and ensuring GMP and quality standards are met to maintain the efficient flow of production. Starting pay up to $25.73 per hour and Attendance Bonus! ($0.50 for first shift and $0.60 for second shift) You will be onsite at the facility located in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Essential Job Functions:
Work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for position
Regular attendance to ensure production requirements are met
Read, write, communicate, and comprehend written instructions in English
Knowledge of electronic testing equipment
Knowledge of Planned Maintenance
Read and interpret complex electrical schematics/prints
Complete work/purchase requests
Lift up to 75 lbs.
You Will:
Install, maintain, and operate all plant electrical (e.g., switch gear, high/low volt, drives, parts, and lighting)
Set-up all electronic equipment for scheduled production runs
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all electronic equipment (e.g., wiring, scales, and metal detectors)
Troubleshoot and program PLC's and encoder systems including wiring
Conduct daily/weekly electrical PM's
Fabricate custom electronic parts
Implement safety devices on production lines
Complete required reports (e.g., PM, Work Orders, Centerline) in English
You Have:
Knowledge of Plant safety, GMP's, & confined spaces
Be LOTO/PIT certified
Knowledge of normal/abnormal processes
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED required. College or trade school.
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of electrical/electronic or related experience required. PLC certification preferred.
