Description
Responsible for general duties in the food service department including but not limited to:
Font of house duties
Back of house duties
Dish room duties
Cleanliness
Sanitation
Customer service
Shifts will be evening & weekends. Evening hours are 3pm-7:30pm & weekends are 2pm-6:30pm.
Job Duties
Follow the guidelines, polices, and procedures set down by the Food Service Department
Responsible for superior customer service practices
Responsible for following the safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures set down by the Food Service Department
Responsible for stocking the front of house for the next day (i.e. clean dishes, refill condiments, re-stock sandwich bar, etc.)
Assist in catered events if assigned
Assist in front of house duties, when assigned
Assist in back of house duties, when assigned
Responsible for washing dishes, equipment, small wares, etc., when assigned
Responsible for closing procedures when working an evening shift
Responsible for opening procedures when working a morning shift
Responsible for weekend hours when scheduled by management
Responsible for following dress code and appearance requirements set down by the Food Service Department
Regular, prompt and reliable attendance
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Enthusiastic and dedicated to the challenges of helping other people
Ability to function collaboratively as part of a fast-paced, customer oriented team
Professional in communications, appearance, relationships, and responsiveness
Positive attitude
Ability to pass a background check
Physical Demands
Heavy work- able to lift 30-50 lbs.
Sit or stand for extended periods of time and use hands.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
