We are hiring an Accounts Payable Assistant for a Contract opportunity expected to span the remainder of the calendar year.

Opportunity to join a dynamic team during a pivotal period of change as they centralize and streamline Accounts Payable (A/P) operations. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Assistant to help with scanning, managing invoice requests, and supporting key projects related to the department's merger.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scan and organize high volumes of invoices, including utility bills from multiple locations.

• Assist in fulfilling invoice copy requests, attaching cover letters, and ensuring proper documentation.

• Support the A/P department in its catch-up efforts during a merger, centralizing records and processes.

• Handle Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and statements, as needed.

• Collaborate with the team to maintain accurate records and assist with ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting support is valued but not required; ability to be flexible and learn on the fly is the must!

• Proficiency in scanning, filing, and document management.

• Familiarity with EDI processes and invoice management valued, not required.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage high volumes of work in a fast-paced environment.
