Aerotek CNC Programmer in Davenport, Iowa
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join our team on 1st shift at our facility located just on the outskirts of Davenport. This role is essential to our operations and offers a great opportunity for growth in a booming industry.
Responsibilities
Generate machine language to convert customer supplied piece part documents into finished parts
Program parts for processing on all equipment
Create piece part super nests to improve material utilization
Make adjustments to drawings based on customer needs, equipment downtime, and operator feedback
Manage customer satisfaction with a focus on quality, ensuring a 98% on-time delivery requirement
Work with operators on the production floor to gather feedback and identify opportunities for improvement
Perform all other duties as assigned or as responsibilities and activities change
Essential Skills
Minimum 1-3 years work experience operating CNC vertical machining centers
Working knowledge of FANUC and Mazatrol controllers
Understanding of G and M codes related to vertical machining centers
Proficiency in CAD software related to CNC machining
Advanced math skills and the ability to calculate feeds and speeds
Ability to use tape measure, micrometer, and caliper
Experience with forklift and/or overhead crane

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $34.00
