Duties & Responsibilities: (Essential Functions of Position, Major Responsibilities, Summary of Key Duties, Special Assignments, Relationships)
Work with Middle School administrators to schedule internal usage of facilities
Work with Middle School administrators to ensure that Creative Arts Academy events are scheduled on School Dude and R School Today
Direct and schedule activities with event staff, including timesheets and payroll information
Coordinate transportation for Creative Arts events and field trips
Assist with planning and supervision of events which may require both evening and weekend work on occasions
Serve as liaison between Middle School Creative Arts Academy staff and building/district administration
Maintain inventory of supplies
Ensure space and supplies are ready for daily instruction and for performance/showcase events
Facilitate CAA staff meetings to ensure initiatives and events are scheduled, continuing the mission of the Creative Arts Academy
Successful candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills with a proven record of building rapport with culturally diverse students to ensure each child reaches his/her full potential.
Good attendance and punctuality are a must to ensure that the duties and responsibilities of the job are performed successfully.
Physical Requirements of Position:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on occasion
Must be able to climb stairs and ladders
must be able to safely use maintenance tools and equipment
Special Qualification Desired: (Personal Qualities, Education, Skills Needed, Experience, Etc.)
Must have a musical/Theater background
Must be a teacher within the Creative Arts Academy
