Job Posting: Network Infrastructure Specialist (Direct hire position)

Robert Half has a client looking to find a detail-oriented Network Infrastructure Expert to guide the complete life cycle of our network infrastructure. This hands-on role involves daily operational activities, providing active support for our Network Services team, and participating in predictive maintenance and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning, installing, and setting up comprehensive network infrastructures

  • Ensuring optimal backup and recovery processes and procedures are in place

  • Upholding, supporting, enhancing and protecting server and network technologies

  • Developing scripts and implementing automated processes, where viable

  • Performing autonomous troubleshooting and monitoring to maintain top-tier system performance

  • Assisting in planning the network capacity and overseeing associated services to ensure seamless performance

  • Offering guidance and training to less experienced team members

  • Delivering Help Desk support relating to network infrastructure and server incidents

  • Managing relationships with vendors and carrying out software licensing and maintenance agreements

  • Staying updated with burgeoning technology trends and ensuring up-to-date knowledge about vendors and their offerings

Qualifications:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

  • Possess exceptional listening and interpersonal skills, with a keen eye for detail

  • Uphold high standards of integrity and honesty, and the ability to follow established processes and procedures

  • Demonstrate a capacity for problem-solving and analytical thinking

  • Possess knowledge in network infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, security, server administration
